Realme 3 Pro update brings 960fps slow-motion video support

As promised during the launch event, the Realme 3 Pro has started to receive a software update that brings 960fps slow-motion video recording support. It is an over the air update rollout which means users will automatically see an update notification once it becomes available for their respective units.

The update carries the version number RMX1851EX_11_A.12 and weighs only about 182MB. It means one can download it even on the cellular data and it should not take more than 15 minutes. Since the Realme 3 Pro went on sale in India only a few hours ago, all users should see the update notification as soon as they will connect the device to the internet for the first time.


To give you an overview, the Realme 3 Pro sports a 6.3-inch Full HD+ (2340 x 1080 pixels) IPS LCD display with a waterdrop-styled notch at the top. Under the hood, it has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor coupled with 4GB and 6GB of RAM. There are 64GB and 128GB internal storage options with support for microSD cards up to 256GB.

On the back, it has a 16-megapixel and 5-megapixel dual rear camera setup with f/1.7 and f/2.4 aperture respectively. It has a 25-megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture. The whole package is powered by a 4,045mAh battery with VOOC 3.0 fast charging. It ships with ColorOS 6 based on Android 9 Pie and also has a fingerprint scanner.
