Since the release of Huawei P30 and P30 Pro, there is a new trend among smartphone photography lovers. It is the trend of posting shots of Moon which are clearer and much better (thanks to super high zoom) than you would be able to capture on most of the other phones. Xiaomi joined the bandwagon by releasing dedicated Moon mode on the Mi 9 and now, it has been expanded to the Mi 9 SE.
The newest Mi 9 SE software update brings Moon mode to the native camera application. Once the update has been installed, the first step is obviously to launch the camera app. Enable the AI mode and set the zoom to 4X which will present you with a toggle for selection between two modes: Low-light mode and Moon mode. Tap on the Moon mode and you are all set to capture Moon and share it on social media.
The update in question here updates Mi 9 SE's software version to MIU 10.3.10. It weighs about 568MB in size which means it is up to you whether you want to download it on cellular data or a WiFi connection. It is currently available only in China with no words on whether it will be expanded to the global version.
The update rollout has already started and it should become available on your device. If you have not received it yet, you should wait for some time and you can even check for the same manually by visiting system settings.
