We are three days away from the next Oppo launch event where it will unveil a new smartphone referred to as a "cool new phone". It is rumored to be the Oppo K3 with upper mid-range specifications and features. And now, Oppo has officially revealed Oppo K3 details while also teasing the pricing for the same.
The Oppo K3 will come with a 6.3-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED full-screen display with no notch. The display is further said to offer features like low brightness, stroboscopic eye protection, and DC dimming. It will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 AIE processor coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB internal storage.
The rear camera module will feature a 16-megapixel and a 2-megapixel sensor with f/1.7 aperture. There will be Ultra Clear Night View 2.0 mode to help users click better low-light and night time shots. The front camera will work via the pop-up mechanism claimed to be tested for 200,000 ups and downs.
It will have a 3,765mAh battery to keep the lights on with support for VOOC 3.0 fast charging. Other features include 6th Gen in-display fingerprint scanner, USB Type-C port, 3.5mm headphone jack, and Game Boost 2.0. It will be running ColorOS 6.0 based on Android 9 Pie out of the box.
Oppo has not revealed exact pricing but teased that it will cost CNY 1X99. The official launch is set for May 23rd where we will get to know availability details as well.
