OnePlus seeking OnePlus 7, OnePlus 7 Pro closed beta testers

27 June 2019 0

OnePlus is one of those few Android OEMs which are known not only for making good hardware but also for providing good software experience and support. It debuted the OnePlus 7 Pro and OnePlus 7 flagships last month and now, it has started working towards the software support side of things. it has opened applications for the OnePlus 7 closed beta testing group.

The closed beta group is said to the most elite group among all the different beta group tiers OnePlus has on offer. It will be accepting only 250 OnePlus 7/7 Pro users from all the applications around the world. These beta testers will get to test new software builds and features before anyone else. They will also remain in direct touch with select OnePlus staff for providing feedback as well as suggestions that will help OxygenOS shape for the future.

All of the selected closed beta testers will also have to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) that will prohibit them from sharing any details outside the group. This will further need to have Slack app installed on their devices which will be used for all the communication between beta testers and OnePlus staff. Last but not least, they will have to install newer builds after wiping out all of their existing data.

If interested, you can submit your application by filling this online form. It goes without saying that you should be having a OnePlus 7 or OnePlus 7 Pro to be eligible. OnePlus will be considering active OnePlus Forums users for the role which is an obvious thing to do.
