Spotify Google Assistant integration now available in India

15 July 2019 0

Spotify has announced that Google Assistant integration is now available in India. It means users will now be able to make use of Assistant voice commands to get things done like playing music and controlling the music playback. The good thing is that the integration is available for paying as well as free users.

The Google Assistant integration is available on all Android devices including smartphones, tablets, Android-powered smart TVs, and Chromecast. The only thing you will need to do is to sign into your Spotify as well as Google accounts. You will be able to say, "Hey Google, play Sunflower by Post Malone on Spotify" to play the track with voice. Similar voice commands can be used for playing playlists, music artists, genres, and among others.

Additional, Spotify integration is available with Google Maps application. It is aimed at making easier for car drivers to use both the apps without having to switch between them. The integration will allow using both the apps' main works from a single interface for quicker and more convenient access.

If you are a Spotify user, you should install the most recent update as soon as possible. For those who don't have the app installed already, you can do so by visiting the Google Play Store.
