ZTE Axon 10 Pro 5G now available with 12GB RAM in China

The ZTE Axon 10 Pro 5G was officially announced in China about three months ago but it went on sale last week. It was made available for purchase in the base variant of 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. If you have been waiting for the higher configuration option, your wait is over as the 12GB RAM model has now been released.

The 12GB RAM model also offers 512GB onboard storage which should be more than plenty for your storage needs. If interested, this new variant will cost you CNY 5,799 which is about $823. In comparison, the base 6GB/128GB model is available for CNY 4,999 i.e. about $720. Both models are available for purchase via different online shopping platforms like ZTE Mall, JD, Suning, and Tmall.

To give you an overview, the ZTE Axon 10 Pro 5G sports a 6.4-inch Full HD+ (2340 x 1080 pixels) AMOLED notched display with 90% screen-to-body ratio. Under the hood, it has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor coupled with 6GB, 8GB, and 12GB of RAM. The internal storage options include 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB with an F2FS file system for faster read/write performance.

In the camera department, there is a triple rear camera setup featuring a 48-megapixel primary sensor (f/1.7 aperture), a 20-megapixel wide-angle sensor (f/2.2 aperture), and an 8-megapixel telephoto sensor (f/2.4 aperture) with 5x optical zoom support. On the front, it has a 20-megapixel selfie shooter with an f/2.0 aperture.

The whole package is powered by a 4,000mAh battery with Quick Charge 4+ fast charging as well as wireless charging support. It will be running Android 9 Pie out of the box. Other features include NFC, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C port, and in-display fingerprint scanner.
