After a few days of teasers, Realme has confirmed that it is all set to launch a completely new smartphone series named Realme 5. The series will include smartphones with a total of four cameras which is something it is promoting with "Leap to Quad Camera" tagline. It will be a Flipkart exclusive series and the eCommerce website has even set up a dedicated page for the same.
The official teasers have suggested that there will be two smartphones: Realme 5 and Realme 5 Pro. As said in the beginning, both smartphones will be coming with quad rear cameras. These four sensors will include a primary sensor, an ultra-wide sensor, a super macro sensor, and a portrait sensor.
The Flipkart teaser mentions that Realme 5's primary sensor is "perfect for low-light pictures with a large aperture and pixel size". The ultra-wide-angle lens will have a 119-degree field of view and will let you capture up to 1.5 times more area. As for super macro and portrait sensors, these will allow users to capture close-up and background blur shots respectively.
These are the only details that we currently know about the Realme 5 series. The launch event is just a little over a week away and we can expect a few more details to become public in the meantime. Additionally, Realme has a 64-megapixel quad-camera smartphone lineup for launch before Diwali this year.
