When Realme was about to wrap up the Realme 5 series launch, it made an additional announcement that they have one more phone lineup for launch in September. The phone is officially called Realme XT and will be featuring a 64-megapixel quad camera setup. It is yet to offer an exact release date but since Redmi is only a couple of days away from announcing its own 64-megapixel phone, the team has ramped up its efforts regarding the device's marketing campaign.
Realme seems to have held some kind of event or gathering in China where it revealed complete Realme XT specifications ahead of the launch. There are different images of the slides used at the event that are making rounds of the internet. One of those slides happens to be showing all of the crucial specifications of the upcoming smartphone.
The Realme XT is shown to be sporting a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with a waterdrop styled notch. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 AIE processor coupled with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.1 onboard storage. There is quad-camera setup on the back panel where 64-megapixel Samsung GW1 sensor is the star of the show. The other three cameras include an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle sensor, a 2-megapixel macro sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
The front camera is listed to be of 16-megapixel. There is a 4,000mAh battery to keep the lights on with support for VOOC 3.0 fast charging. It will be shipping with ColorOS 6.0 based on Android 9 Pie out of the box and will also feature an in-display fingerprint scanner. The Realme XT is shown in White and Blue color variants. The details regarding pricing are currently missing which we think will be revealed directly at the launch event.
