03 September 2019 0

The closer we are getting towards the launch, more and more OnePlus TV specifications are getting revealed through official channels. OnePlus has already confirmed a few of the important specs of its first smart TV and now, it is time for Amazon India to do something similar. A dedicated landing page for OnePlus TV has been set up which is something Amazon does ahead of any major product release, especially if it is the exclusive online sales partner.

The OnePlus TV is now confirmed to sport a 55-inch 4K QLED display that "redefines visual experience". The details regarding display size and panel type were already public but Amazon India's listing has also confirmed the display resolution. The TV will have Dolby Vision support for delivering sharper and brighter content with more accurate and vibrant color reproduction.

The new specification revealed by Amazon India is that the OnePlus TV will have a total of eight speakers. Their total sound output will be at 50 watts which will be "punchy bass to fill your living room". There is Dolby Atmos support which should enhance your audio listening experience. And when paired with Dolby Vision, you should get an impressive media consumption experience, especially watching movies, TV shows, and music videos.

This is pretty much everything that Amazon India has revealed about the upcoming OnePlus TV. There is an option to subscribe to receive latest updates about the TV directly into your email box. The details regarding a release date are still not official but reports suggest that we will see OnePlus TV getting unveiled on September 26th alongside the OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7T Pro.

A recent leak revealed the OnePlus TV has the codename Dosa and will be powered by the MediaTek MT5670 processor. It will be running Android 9 Pie but a tweaked version of the same.
