If you are a Huawei or Honor smartphone user, you must be wondering when exactly you will be receiving the new Android 10 version. We already know that EMUI 10 is the latest custom Android skin from Huawei which is currently under beta testing. And now, Huawei has officially shared details regarding EMUI 10 stable version rollout.
Huawei made the announcement on the sidelines of IFA 2019 event in Berlin. There are more than 30 Huawei and Honor smartphones that will be upgraded to the next major Android version. The global launch of EMUI 10 will happen on September 19th alongside the Huawei Mate 30 release.
It should be noted that Huawei P30 and P30 Pro smartphones are already available for open beta testing. These will also become the first Huawei phones to receive EMUI 10 in November. The next phase of release in December will see Huawei Mate 20, Mate 20 Pro, Mate RS, Mate 20X (4G), Honor 20, Honor 20 Pro, and Honor View 20 getting updated to the new version. All Honor smartphone will receive the upgrade in the form of Magic UI 3.0 which is a custom version of EMUI 10.
The team will then upgrade Huawei P30 Lite, Huawei P20 series, and Huawei Mate 10 series to the newest Android version in March 2020. All of the remaining eligible Huawei and Honor smartphones will receive EMUI 10 in Q2 2020 which is by the end of June 2020.
