This upcoming festive season in India is going to be a busy one for Vivo. The Chinese smartphone maker has plans of releasing at least six new smartphones in these months and it has already launched Vivo Z1x as one of them. It has Vivo V17 Pro launch lineup for September 20th and just four days later, it will launch an all-new U-series with the release of Vivo U10.
The Vivo U10 will be the first smartphone under the U-series which will Vivo's first online-exclusive smartphone series. It means all the phones released under this lineup will be sold exclusively via online partners. This is similar to what Samsung does with the Galaxy M series and many other Chinese brands have been doing as well.
Amazon India will be the exclusive online shopping platform to sell Vivo U10 in the country. It has set up a landing page for the phones which also teases some of its features. This upcoming phone will be sporting a waterdrop-styled notch with really slim bezels. Only the bottom bezel appears to be slightly bigger as compared to the other three.
The Vivo U10 will come with 18W fast charging that is claimed to offer 4.5 hours of talk time with only 10 minutes of charging time. It will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor but the actual series has not been revealed but it is expected to be a budget device. Vivo is also teasing camera performance with the text, "Capture more anytime, anywhere. Keep clicking" and long-lasting battery for the smartphone.
In a separate report, alleged Vivo U10 hands-on images have already been leaked. These images show the phone from the front side which means we do not really get to see anything new or different. The report does mention that the Vivo U10 will be priced under Rs. 12,000 with sales starting by September-end.
