It is official. OnePlus has not only officially acknowledged that OnePlus 7T series is coming but has also revealed a launch date for the same as well as the OnePlus TV. The next OnePlus launch event has been scheduled for September 26th in India and the United States. There will a separate event for the UK and other global markets which will be held on October 10th.
OnePlus has posted a OnePlus 7T teaser video confirming that the upcoming flagships will come with 90Hz display. It is touting the display refresh rate as "Smooth like never before" which is undoubtedly true if you have never used such a display before. If we talk about OnePlus' own offering, the OnePlus 7 Pro is the only smartphone to feature a 90Hz display but with the upcoming launch, it will have two more phones in the list. These phones are also rumored to come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus processor among other differentiating features from the OnePlus 7 series.

While the new smartphones will make an appearance at all three event venues, the Indian launch event will have one more product named OnePlus TV. It will be the first-ever smart TV from OnePlus and is a part of the company's attempt to venture into products beyond smartphones. OnePlus has been teasing OnePlus TV for quite some time now as it has revealed various features from time to time.
The OnePlus TV will be sporting a 55-inch 4K QLED display panel with wide color gamut support. It will have a custom Gamma Color Magic chipset to deliver "best-in-class image quality". On the software side of things, it will be running a tweaked version of Android TV platform which OnePlus says will offer a unique experience. Since we all know what OnePlus' OxygenOS is capable of, we have high hopes for the company's first TV software platform as well. It will be an Amazon India exclusive offering like all of the previous OnePlus releases in the country.
