Xiaomi brings Mi Smart Band 4 with AMOLED color display to India

17 September 2019 0

Xiaomi has officially launched Mi Smart Band 4 at an event named Smarter Living 2020 in India. It is the same event where the brand unveiled a new range of smart TVs called Mi TV 4X. The new entry-level fitness band made its global debut about three months ago and is a direct successor to last year's Mi Band 3.

The Mi Smart Band 4 sports a 0.95-inch AMOLED color full-touch display which is same as the predecessor except for the bigger size. Xiaomi is claiming it to be 39.9% wider than the previous generation's 0.78-inch display. It simply means you will be able to see more information without needing to scroll up or down. It is an anti-scratch display so that you don't have to worry about wearing it outside or during workouts.

The fitness tracker is capable of tracking a number of physical activities like walking, running, cycling, and swimming. It shows various data and insights related to the particular activity. While it shows only brief data on the band display itself, you can check detailed stats and more information using the Mi Fit companion app. Other features including sleep tracking, wristband alarm, 24*7 heart-rate monitoring, call alerts, message alerts, app notifications, phone locator, and phone unlock. If you love personalizing your fitness band, it comes with a total of 77 different watch faces.

Xiaomi claims that the Mi Smart Band 4 can last for up to 20 days on a single charge. It features water-resistance up to 5 ATM/50 meters. It has been priced at Rs. 2,299 with sales starting September 19th on Amazon India, Mi.com online store, and Mi Home offline stores. It is available in only Black color but offers Orange, Violet, and Purple strap color options.
