OnePlus 7, OnePlus 7 Pro Android 10-based OxygenOS update starts rolling out

23 September 2019 0

OnePlus has officially become one of the fastest Android OEMs to release Android 10 public build. It has started rolling OxygenOS update based on Android 10 for OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro. The team was beta testing the new version since Google's Android 10 release announcement and now, it seems like the feedback has been at a satisfactory level for it to proceed with the stable rollout.

It is a big update as it not only brings Android 10 features, it also brings all the new OnePlus offerings including tweaks and customizations. OnePlus said that this is a gradual rollout which means a few users will receive it first followed by a slow expansion to the rest of the community. This is the reason you can keep checking for the update through phone's settings.

OnePlus 7/OnePlus 7 Pro Android 10-based OxygenOS update changelog:

  • Upgraded to Android 10
  • Brand new UI design
  • Enhanced location permissions for privacy
  • New customization feature in Settings allowing you to choose icon shapes to be displayed in the Quick Settings
