Huawei has officially unveiled a new Android tablet named MatePad Pro at an event held in China. It is a high-end Android tablet with flagship-level specifications and a big battery. It is also the first tablet to come with a punch-hole display with a punch-hole on the top right corner.
The Huawei MatePad Pro sports a 10.8-inch Quad HD+ (2560 x 1600 pixels) AMOLED display with a 16:10 aspect ratio. The display panel supports DCI-P3 color gamut. It is claimed to offer a 90% screen-to-body ratio with a 4.9mm bezel thickness. Under the hood, it features Kirin 990 which is Huawei's own flagship processor. It has been released in two configuration options: 6GB RAM with 128GB storage and 8GB RAM with 256GB storage.
In the camera department, there is a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/1.8 aperture and an 8-megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture. The rear camera also features phase detection autofocus and LED flash to improve the photography quality. The whole package is powered by a 7,250mAh battery with support for 40W Huawei SuperCharge fast charging. It also supports 15W wireless charging and 7.5W reverse wireless charging. The latter technology will allow users to charge their other devices using the tablet.
The MatePad Pro comes with a stylus pen named M-Pencil that offers a 4096-level of pressure sensitivity. Other noteworthy features include Bluetooth 5.1, quad stereo speakers, GPS, and USB Type-C port. It has been released in WiFi-only and LTE variants with an option to choose from Danxia Orange, Castle Peak, Fritillaria White, and Night Ash color variants.

Huawei has already started taking pre-orders for MatePad Pro in China. It will go on sale starting December 12th with no words on the global release yet.
