09 December 2019 0

After a bunch of teasers, Realme has officially confirmed that it will launch its first truly wireless earbuds on December 17th. It has also revealed that these will be known as the Realme Buds Air. Even some of the technical specifications and features have been confirmed ahead of the official launch.

Realme is marketing Buds Air as "True wireless, Real seamless" which is a nod to no wires and instant pairing. The latter is a functionality that will work only with Bluetooth 5.0 devices. It will allow the earbuds to connect with a compatible device instantly just when the charging case is opened.

The Realme Buds Air will boast 12mm Bass boost driver that should be appreciated by bass lovers. There will be in-built Google Assistant support with one-touch activation and touch-based controls for music playback and calls. These earbuds will be released in Black, White, and Yellow color variants.

Realme is yet to reveal Buds Air pricing but is running a limited-time special offer. It is offering a Rs. 400 discount coupon to anyone who purchases a Realme X2 Pro, Realme XT, Realme X, Realme X Master Edition or Realme 5 Pro. The offer is valid for purchases made between December 9th and 16th but codes will arrive starting December 17th.
