Amazfit Bip S smartwatch and true wireless earbuds set for CES 2020 launch

31 December 2019 0

Xiaomi-backed Chinese tech startup Huami has confirmed that it will be attending the CES 2020 event next month in Las Vegas. It will take the stage to announce "multiple series of new and innovative products". It has further released two teasers revealing that two of these products will include Amazfit Bip S smartwatch and a pair of truly wireless earbuds.

The Amazfit Bip S will be its newest smartwatch that is being teased to be "more powerful with an ultra-long battery life". It will be the third product in the series after the launch of Amazfit Bip and Bip Lite smartwatches. All other details about the smartwatch have been kept under wraps but the teaser suggests a square-shaped dial. There is also a crown on the right side that is likely to be helpful for navigating through apps, menus, and settings.

Amazfit is a brand that is widely known for making wearables but it is now set to venture beyond. It has teased the arrival of truly wireless earbuds as its first product outside the core category. The teaser image suggests that the earbuds will have a glossy finish and will come with replaceable ear tips. It is touting the new product as “The first Amazfit TWS headset is coming soon and there’s more”. The move is not at all surprising as many other Chinese brands are also working on their respective offerings. We have seen Realme Buds Air and Oppo Enco Free as two of the newly released truly wireless earbuds.

Amazfit has not revealed any other details about its upcoming products and plans. Since CES 2020 is scheduled from January 7th to 10th, we will not have to wait longer. It is also possible that we might get to see a few more teasers in the build-up to the event which we will keep you updated with.
