Honor has officially announced that it will be attending next month's MWC 2020 event in Barcelona. The media invite for the event mentions February 24th as the date for the keynote. It means we will see Honor making announcements on the first day of the annual tech event itself.
As for what it will announce at the event, the keynote will primarily focus on the global expansion of its recently launched products from different categories. The star of the show will be the Honor V30 Pro which is the first 5G smartphone from the brand. It was unveiled in November 2019 in China along with the standard Honor V30. It will also announce Honor 9X Pro global variant at the same venue as the Honor 9X has already been released globally.
Next up, it is said to unveil global variants of Honor MagicBook 14 and MagicBook 15 notebooks. These notebooks are available in both Intel and AMD CPU options in China. We will have to see whether Honor will bring both options to MWC or only one of these. It will further unveil the newest smartwatch Honor MagicWatch 2 at the keynote in Barcelona.
It is said to wrap up the event by taking wraps off its first-ever truly wireless earphones. It will be joining the likes of Xiaomi, Oppo, and Realme in the segment that has seen more and more brands taking an interest in. Honor's MWC 2020 event will kick off at 5:30 PM CET on February 24th. It is currently unknown whether it will be live-streamed but if it does, we will keep you posted.
