29 January 2020 0

Realme India has confirmed that it will launch Realme C3 on February 6th. It will be the newest member of the budget smartphone series from the company and will be a Realme C2 successor. The launch event will start at 12: 30 PM IST with livestream available through YouTube and Facebook.

The launch poster of the event clearly shows the Realme C3. It is a notched display smartphone with a dual-camera setup on the back panel. The cameras are aligned vertically which is a shift from the horizontal alignment used in previous models. The phone is shown in Blue color and thus confirms it will be one of the color options. Realme is teasing the phone as "Entertainment Ka Superstar" that translates to Superstar of Entertainment. It seems like it will focus on media consumption at the event.

In a separate tweet, Realme CEO Madhav Sheth has revealed that the Realme C series has an impressive 10.2 million users globally. He added that over 750,000 users have rated the series 5/5 on Flipkart suggesting that it "has been highly successful in disrupting the entry level segment." Lastly, he has mentioned they will reveal more details tomorrow.

The Realme C3 specifications and features are currently unknown but a 91Mobiles report has offered some leaked information. It mentions that the phone will have dual rear cameras, a MediaTek processor, and a bigger 5,000mAh battery. Since we have already seen that the phone will indeed have dual cameras, the leak does some believable. We should expect more information in the coming days.
