Google's Gmailify helps you get Gmail features on your non-Gmail account

18 February 2016 0

It has been about a year since Google's Gmail app started supporting non-Gmail email accounts. While it has been a great feature, there is a drawback that you don't get all the cool Gmail features on those accounts. And Google has just changed it now with the announcement of a new feature called Gmailify.

This feature will provide you with most of the Gmail's coolest features on your non-Gmail account with the just one tap. The option is available for Yahoo and Hotmail/Outlook email accounts at the moment. You can enable/disable it anytime by going to the settings of that particular email account.

Once enabled, you will get the features like Gmail's spam protection, faster and deeper search, better email notifications, automatic grouping of emails like social/personal/updates, etc., and Google Now notifications for the email like hotel reservation and order shipment.

The feature is getting rolled out via an update which will make its way to all the users in coming days. In case, you don't want to add then you can grab the latest version's APK file from APK Mirror.
