Samsung has got lots of things served on its plate in one go, especially after the Samsung Galaxy S7 and the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge launched recently. The South Korean company is step-by-step releasing the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for a number of its variants in the flagship category.
The proof was the recent tweet by users in France and India. They tweeted, naturally with joy that they had got a major update, for the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ with about 1.3GB in weight. And what, the not only improved the performance, but also gave them enhanced fingerprint security (that needed users to put in an optional security method like a pattern or a PIN) as well as battery saver, improvements in Quick Connect and overall changes in the UI.
So, if you have been using the aforementioned Samsung handset and still haven’t go the OTA (over the air) notification, what you can do is check for the latest update by navigating to Settings => About Device => Download Updates. And now, you can immediately install the update or schedule it at your convenient time.
