02 June 2016 0

Towards the end of the last year, rumors and news speculated various things regarding the ZUK Z2. The ZUK CEO had back in November said that the device will be launched next year. Among multiple rumors, some claimed the smartphone to have a 360 degree rotating camera. Speaking of the entire ZUK brand that comes under Lenovo, we have so far seen three smartphones – the ZUK Z1, the ZUK Z2 and the ZUK Z2 Pro.

As far as the ZUK Z2 is concerned, it comes with a powerful SD820. Having a metal chassis, it sports glass on its rear side as well as to the front. As this device has glass on its back, its teardown will obviously be similar to such devices having glass on its back. The gallery below with 27 excellent images should help you walk through the entire process like a breeze.

The device has a 5-inch screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It has an internal storage of 64GB and the Snapdragon processor is assisted by 4GB of RAM. Along with the SD820, there’s also Adreno 530 GPU for graphics. The rear and front camera combination is of 13MP and 8MP respectively. The device has a non-removable 3500mAh battery.

The device runs on the pre-installed Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. And on the top, there’s the company’s ZUI 2.0 UI. The ZUK Z2 is smartphone that has dual-SIM card option – 2 x nano SIM. The physical home key to the front of the device also houses a fingerprint reader. With a weight of 149 grams, the device measures 141.7 x 68.9 x 8.5mm.
