[UPD] Samsung Galaxy J7 and Galaxy A3(2016) receive Marshmallow update

UPDATE (July 15th, 2016):

Now, Android Marshmallow update is available as an OTA for the Samsung Galaxy A3 (2016) as well.


It has been a quite while Samsung started to provide their devices with the latest Android Marshmallow update and is indeed covering a lot of devices in a short period of time. Now we have 2 more devices on the table receiving the latest Marshmallow update, the Samsung Galaxy J7 and Samsung Galaxy A3(2016).

The Samsung Galaxy J7 has been one of the greatest smartphones in the market for almost a year. The device was launched last year with Android 5.1 Lollipop and the Marshmallow update was recently made available in Russia and now the update is made available across several other countries. The update is 1.04GB in size and is available as OTA for the device, the update is also available for manual flashing and can be downloaded here.

For the Samsung Galaxy A3(2016) the update is not available as OTA but can be downloaded for manual flashing. The update comes with various bug fixes and a lot of features, which includes improvement in the UI as well as settings. The Doze feature provides your device with an extended battery life and the update also packs the recent version of TouchWiz as well.

The company is significant in expanding the availability of the update to their devices and this will, in fact, raise the standard of the company to another level.
