Experience HTC Sense 8 on any Android device | APK download

30 June 2016 3

To experience the Sense 8, all you need to have is a Android 4.4+ running device. During our brief interaction with the app, we found out that it is basically a launcher based on HTS Sense, and has all its the typical features including Blinkfeed, themes, freestyle mode etc. If you never owned an HTC device, you need to create a new HTC account to access the market to download themes (the classic ones and yes, freestyle themes too). More over you can download lots of good wallpapers and ringtones too. Don't worry, you don't need to purchase a HTC device to create an account. Sign in and you're good to go. You can add sources to Blinkfeed, like facebook, twitter, some news apps etc.

We tested the app for about an hour, and didn't find any bugs or problems. Twice we felt lags: once while swiping homepages and once when we gave access permission for Facebook. We used a Nexus 6P to test the Sense 8 APK, and the above screenshots are of the same. The beta version is very smooth and it will definitely give any user a new and fresh experience. Just check the "install from unknown sources" option in settings before installing it.

Freestyle home screen. Look how we have different objects for different apps.

It's pretty stable on the Nexus 6P running Android 6.0.1 with the June 2016 security patch. Do let us know in the comments section below about your experience regarding the HTC Sense 8 launcher and if you experienced any other bug or problem on your device.

NOTE : Even if you see the message "there is a newer version below!", it's not it. Download the version that we propose, we recognize it because the upload date is today, June 30, 2016.

The Huawei Nexus 6P isn't still available. To be notified when it becomse available click here.
