Xiaomi’s upcoming Redmi Pro smartphone is in rumours and we have seen the device is speculated like a flagship Redmi smartphone. The announcement of the device is pegged for July 27th but the company officially didn’t reveal details about the device except the video and images teasers. These teasers hint few hardware specs about the device but much details of the device are still in the dark.
Today Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun revealed on Weibo that he is very excited regarding the Redmi Pro announcement and not just that but also confirmed that on July 27th i.e. Wednesday company is going to unveil this device.
From last three days, the Xiaomi’s three spokesperson Wu Xiubo, Liu Hao and Lu Shi are releasing promotional videos respectively on turns. The first video was released Wu Xuibo regarding the “OELD PING”. The second video was from Lui Shi regarding “ten nuclear double stem head”, and “Mentor” followed by “brushed gold potato” released by Liu Hao.
All three videos highlights that Xiaomi Redmi Pro will be featuring all three aforementioned features and if we sum up what all three teaser video suggests then we can say Redmi Pro will be the first Smartphone from Xiaomi featuring an OLED display, secondly it will be powered by a Deca-core processor, the rear camera sensor is featuring dual lens and last but not the least it is featuring a brushed metal design.
As far as the hardware specs is a concern, the Redmi Pro will be packed with 5.5 inches Full HD OLED display with 1080 pixels screen resolution. The Helio X25 Soc will be powering the device with 4GB of RAM and the base variant internal storage will be 32GB while the top of the line variant will be having 128GB storage.
The sleek metal brushed smartphone will be having dual SIM card slots and the Android Marshmallow with MIUI on board as OS. All three major carriers in China will be supported by this device and rumoured expected the price tag of this device is 1499 yuan ($225).
