[UPD: Gallery preview] Alcatel launches SHINE LITE at IFA 2016 with 5-inch display and 13MP camera

02 September 2016 0

Alcatel has announced its latest smartphone SHINE LITE at the IFA 2016 in Berlin. The Android based smartphone is mostly targeted at the younger-generation and looks more stylish with its sleek design with an affordable price tag.

Let’s take a look on the technical specifications of the device. The Alcatel SHINE LITE features a 5-inch IPS HD display with 720 pixels resolution. The device is powered by SoC MediaTek MT6737 along with quad-core ARM Cortex-A53 processor and GPU ARM Mali-T720 MP2. Furthermore, it has a 2GB of RAM and 16GB of in-built storage. There is a 13MP primary camera with dual LED flash together with 5MP front camera again with LED flash. The device sports a 2460mAh battery capacity along with a dimension of 141.5 x 71.2 mm x 7.45. It runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.

The Alcatel SHINE LITE is made of a metal chassis with curved glass cover Dragontrail ‘2.5D’ in both front and back with featuring a fingerprint scanner on the back. Interestingly, we expect that there will be a launch of an app for every enrolled fingerprint (which can maximize to five).

The device goes available from this month with a price tag of 200 Euros. And you will get the available device in three colour variant, Pre White, Satin Gold, and Prime Black (this one is said to be available later this year).
