The IFA 2016, the world's largest Consumer Electronics trade show, which is happening in Berlin, has witnessed many new announcements from big brands like Sony, Samsung, Asus, etc.
Taking into note, Samsung has launched its brand new wearable device, the Gear S3 that comes in two different designs, Frontier and Classic, yesterday. Samsung has actually used the great design and latest mobile technology and combined them together to bring along smartwatch Gear S3. Previously, it brought the Gear S2, which was also packed with some nice specifications, but the latter is best in compared to its prior model. The Gear S2 was later announced by the company to go side-by-side in the market. But if you were looking for a smartwatch with some decent features, you can definitely try the Gear S3.
So, why not take a rewind on the technical specs of the Gear S3 devices. To start with, the Gear S3 Frontier features a rugged outdoor which you can carry with both casual and formal. It has a raised bezel and a rectangular buttons that are textured. This variant sports Bluetooth and LTE connectivity as well.
Now let’s look on to the Gear S3 Classic, which is more a subtle statement based on classical timepieces using the minimal level of design language to make it an elegant wear. It features a minute attention which provides you a feel and look of a luxury watch. There is a stainless steel body, with circular button. It also supports Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. Additionally, Samsung has added IP68 water and dust resistance to both the devices that makes them extremely perfect to carry anywhere.
But provided this, people who are more technical about their devices, might look for the model numbers of the smartwatch as well. So here it is, the Gear S3 Classic carries a SM-R770, and the Frontier with Bluetooth only has a model number SM-R760. While, the Gear S3 with 3G/LTE carries a model number SM-R765. A point worth notifying here is Samsung is only offering the 3G/LTE connectivity with the Gear S3 frontier. The expected price tag for Gear S3 is 399 Euro, but it’s not yet confirmed by the company and neither had it put any light on the device’s availability on other markets.
