Sony has announced its Android-based smartphones, Xperia XZ along with Xperia X Compact at the IFA 2016 Berlin. While the company has also started pre-orders for the former device in Europe a few days back. And if you pre-order the Xperia XZ through any European sites, you will be getting a stunning high-quality, Sony MDR-XB950BT Extra Bass wireless headphones worth £100 absolutely free.
We have known that the Xperia XZ comes in three colour variants that are, Mineral Black, Platinum, and Forest Blue. Now, as per the smartphone’s white paper, there would be an additional hue called Deep Pink. And having said that, this pink version of Xperia XZ has not yet been seen anywhere. Thus, it clearly depicts that it will not be releasing along with the other three colour variants. The white paper also adds a footnote saying that the ‘Deep Pink’ variant would be available in selected market only. Well, you can take a look of Deep Pink Xperia XZ shell in the picture above.
Let’s take a rewind on the tech specs of the device Xperia XZ, which is powered by Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 820 processor. It features a 5.2-inch full HD display along with 3GB of RAM and 32/64 GB of internal memory. The device will bring the GUI to the users. There is a 23MP rear camera with phase detection, laser autofocus, and LED flash. And the smartphone also sports a 13MP front-facing camera with similar features that is more dedicated to absolute perfect selfies. The device has a 2900mAh battery for long-lasting life, which runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.
We have often seen Sony announcing new pink variations of its flagship devices earlier, right before Valentine’s Day and the Chinese New Year. We expect it to happen this time also. But we will update you if the company releases this variant any sooner.
