Sony feeding unspecified maintenance update (1.1.A.0.1) to several Xperia devices

A mysterious maintenance update has been rolled out to Xperia devices by Sony. The update has a build number 1.1.A.0.1 and weighs 1.3MB. Since it's a maintenance update so we should have received information on the fact which parts of the several Xperia devices have been fixed with this. But, Sony hasn't released any information on the same.

The update only writes,

By updating your software, you get the latest features and improved performance to make the most out of your Xperia device.

The description tells nothing new. We are yet to know what exactly does this update bring with itself, what has been improved or added. However, some of the users who have installed this update are reporting higher battery drain post-update.

We don't even know which Xperia devices are getting this update. However, a few users comment on the source that they have updated their Xperia Z2, Z2 Tablet, Z3 Compact, Z3 Plus, Z5, Z5 Compact, and X Performance smartphones with this build.
