Play Store feature rating system is now introduced for game reviews

25 November 2016 4

As we all know the rating system for games on Play Store is slightly different as compared to apps. From past few months, we have seen Google is taking major steps and revamping all their services User interface and Play Store is not an exception. Today, Google brings another change by releasing a new “Feature Ratings” system so that users can easily review games.

With this new change in the rating system, now users will see the rating will appear in the form of circles and this section will be exclusive for feature ratings only. At the moment, Google yet to roll out this feature for global users but instead only selected users are currently enjoying this feature. After this update, now users circle rating is appearing below the rating bar and then the review section with highlighted stars.

The usual ratings of stars are not enough to review games but instead, users do need a separate space to see ratings of gameplay experience and the graphics of games. Now users can see each detail review individually and all will appear at the same bar. This is more than enough to get a better review about the game before installing it. The users can give their individual review in the dedicated circle.

Usually, we have seen Android users can rate apps with stars options and max of 5 stars can be given to best app but with the new addition, users can review graphics, controls, and gameplay individually. All three aforementioned options rating system will appear in a gallery like section below the gaming apps.

Do share your views in the comments section below regarding the updated review system for the game.

5 stars means a full circle as it seems from the images here. Because there's only a slight blank space left in the ratings for 4.5 and 4.6.
