80,000 Meizu M5 Note buyers pre-registered ahead of launch

The Meizu M5 Note is yet to be announced on December 6th but it seems like M5 Note fans are eagerly waiting for the upcoming device. Ahead of launching event, the device is currently listed on JD.com and per reports from China nearly 80,000 buyers pre-registered for the first flash sale of the device. Like most Chinese smartphones, the M5 Note is expected to be released soon after Dec 6th launching event.

As per TENAA listing, the Meizu M5 Note will be featuring a 5.5-inch display with full HD screen resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. The slightly mid-ranger Helio P10 chipset is powering the device with Mali-T860 on board as GPU. The Octa-core processor is accompanied with 3GB RAM and the native storage of handset is 32GB. In case, if the user needs more memory, they can expand it using external MicroSD card up to 128GB. As far as price is a concern, the device is expected to be unveiled for around $160 equivalent 1099 Yuan in China.

Meizu is in the spotlight after recently announcing mid-ranger Meizu M3X and the flagship Meizu Pro 6 Plus. The flagship variant first flash sale will be on December 8th and on that day Meizu could also date first flash sale of M5 Note. Stay tuned, we will be sharing more details.

The launching event and the availability depends on the success of the flash sales. How many customers get pre-registered and how soon the device gets sold off will be a thing to watch out for.

Just $160? This is a really cheap price for the M5 Note considering the specs that are known so far. 3GB of RAM and as much as 128GB of memory are the two good things that I see in my preference list. And yes, all the success will spell the next availability.
