Here's how to set Google Play Music fireplace visualizer during Chromecast

21 December 2016 4

Google Play Music is one of the best music streaming services out there along with the ability to upload local music collection and support for Chromcast. But there is a little disappointing thing about chrome casting Play Music and it's that it shows blown up and pixelated album art on the big screen while playing the song. It's kind of turn off if you think about the overall user experience. If you were thinking of changing it for something better, you are in luck as today we will tell you how you can replace those bad-looking album arts with beautiful looking fireplace flames.

All you need to do is to enable Google Play Music's Fireplace visualizer and here are steps to do it:

1. Launch Google Play Music on the web where you will see the interface shown below.

2. Now click on the hamburger menu icon at the top to access the left sidebar menu. Choose Settings from here.

3. In the Settings menu, scroll until you reach the Labs section. From here, enable the toggle for Chrome Fireplace Visualizer option.

And that's all that you need to do. Now chrome cast your Play Music collection on the big screen without worrying about those pixelated album artworks and enjoy the flames of the fireplace.

Yeah, you said it right... when an image is blown up or blurred, it takes the joy of enjoying it away in no time. But maybe, they look like this on the big screen only.
