Samsung recently took the stage to announce the next-gen Galaxy Tab S4. As the name suggests the Tab S4 is the successor model of last year's Tab S3. The latest variant comes with a number of extra goodies like S Pen Stylus, new Book Cover Keyboard to bring 2-in-1 form factor and also comes with Dex support natively.
According to Samsung, the latest Galaxy Tab S4 is specially focused to enhance the productivity as well as to provide great entertainment experience with its impressive OLED display and solid performing hardware. Unfortunately, despite being an expensive phone it doesn't have the latest best hardware instead the company opted for last year's Snapdragon 835 chipset.
The other special aspects of Galaxy Tab S4 are Defense grade security, Essential Home Assistant, S-Pen with 4,096 level of pressure sensitivity. Being an entertainment-focused Tab, it comes with 1.2W speakers tuned by AKG to provide you the best audio experience.
Last but not the least we have another Tab from Apple. The iPad Mini 4 isn't the latest iPad but still, it is still one of the best mini tabs in the market despite being a few years older. It features a 7-inches display which makes it one of the most compact tab available in the market.
There are many customers in the market who don't prefer iPad 9.7 or the latest iPad Pro due to its larger overall footprint or expensive price tag. The iPad Mini emerge as a pretty good option for those who are looking for a compact iPad with a form factor.
Being a Mini variant it lacks goodies of the Pro variants. Another important aspect is it doesn't have support for Apple pencil. It is running on the A8 chipset with 2GB RAM. The top of the line model comes with 128GB storage, it can't be expanded using MicroSD. A fairly large 5,124mAh battery is on board to keep its lights on for a longer period.

I have always been an Apple fan and no doubt, the iPad Pro 9.7 is my all-time favorite. The display is the thing that impresses me the most. And not to forget the pencil support.
I haven't yet got a chance to own this iPad Pro, but I have used my friend's device. The pencil has literally bowled me over. It's awesome, I tell you.
Out of the Pixel C and Xperia Z4, my vote goes for the Sony tablet. It's waterproof design is what is important to me due to the work type. But the lower native storage is enough to put me off.
Then I guess, you should once give the Pixel C a chance. Why I love it is because of two things - the battery life. And more importantly, the availability of latest Android OS updates it can get as it's a home product.
I am very happy to see the Surface Pro 4 at the very top of the list. I don't know if the list is compiled as per priority, but I am sure this deserves to be at the top. And one reason - I use that. Nicely written.
I don't know why you liked that expensive tablet. But anyway, the Kickstand comes pre-installed, which is a very good thing.
