Meizu M5S with MediaTek MT6753 processor spotted on Geekbench

Meizu M5s crossed the TENAA and 3C certification hurdle at the end of last year and now it is spotted at Geekbench. The benchmark listing reveals more about the device. According to this listing, the Meizu M5s is powered by MediaTek MT6753 chipset with octa-core 1.3GHz processor. This is accompanied by a 2GB RAM. Previously, the spot hinted the MediaTek MT6750 processor. We are yet to figure out this.

The listing also reveals that the device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. The company’s Flyme OS 6.0 should come on the top of it. Other key specs revealed by the Chinese agency include a 5.2-inch HD screen, 3GB/4GB RAM, and 32GB/64GB internal memory. There is a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera. It comes with a 2,930mAH battery.

According to the previous speculations, the device is expected to be rolled out in soon and since the CES 2017 is around the corner, the device could show its presence at the event, however, nothing is concrete yet and we will keep this speculation aside.

According to TENAA and 3C certifications, the smartphone has been identified with two different model numbers – M612Q and M612M. It has multiple variants that vary according to the RAM and internal storage. All these variants can be expanded up to 128GB using a microSD card.
