06 January 2017 4

Xiaomi has been busy lately at the CES 2017 event, the company introduced its Mi 4 TV, a new white variant of Mi MIX smartphone and Mi Router HD. But that is not all, the company has also shown new colors of its Mi Note 2 smartphone.

Yes, there are new colors, not one, not two but a Xiaomi has showcased three new colors for the Mi Note 2. The three new colors are green, purple and pink, though pink has been a color used by many other smartphone manufacturers, it is the green and purple which stands out different from the classic black, white and silver colors used nowadays in smartphones.

The new colors were exhibited for the first time, and there is no word if these are just for exhibition or the company is planning to bring these to the market. The specs for these new colors are same as the old black and silver Mi Note 2. Even if Xiaomi decides to bring these new colors to the market, most likely they will be introduced first in the China market. Only then there may be a tiny possibility of these colors coming to other markets.

With the company launching a new color for Mi MIX smartphone and now showing off three new colors of Mi Note 2, in future we may see Xiaomi to follow this trend of introducing new colors for its smartphones.

The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 isn't still available. To be notified when it becomse available click here.

  • If there are new colors by the company, they won't only be for exhibiting. What would that be useful for? Instead of that Xiaomi could have spent their time and energy on something else. If there are new colors, they would soon come out.

    • If the company has indeed brought out these colors, then they might surely be for the purpose of commercial use. What's the use of just having them for the sake of exhibition?
