In a Surprising move, Huawei showcases a P9 Lite 2017 version which is pre-installed with Android Nougat 7.0. This device will be released for the Latin America market under Honor brand. The Honor Prague is recently spotted on Geekbench.
The newly showcased Huawei P9 Lite is a revised version of last year P9 Lite. With this handset, the company will be entering the Latin America market. Whether this handset, will be released for other regions or not it is still in dark. The latest device does bring minor changes as compared to last year device. Let’s have a look at device internal hardware specs.
The P9 Lite 2017 featuring a 5.2-inch IPS display panel with full HD screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. On the rear side, the primary camera snapper is 12MP whereas the front facing camera module is 8MP. The rear camera snapper is accompanied with LED flashlight and aperture on both side camera is f/2.0.The Huawei own build Octa-core Kirin 655 Soc is powering the device at a clocking speed of 2.0GHz. Another update is in OS department, the device is pre-installed with latest Android Nougat 7.0.
The Octa-core Soc is accompanied with 3GB RAM and built-in internal memory is 16GB. The top of the line variant will have 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. The battery cell is 3,000mAh. This device will be released for a price range around $250 to $300.
It will be interesting to see if Huawei announce this handset for the European market under its Honor branding. This device is offering solid mid-range hardware specs at a relatively affordable price tag. We will be sharing more details regarding the device in coming days stay tuned.
