Google Maps 9.45 beta brings refreshed arrival cards, lists sharing and more

02 February 2017 0

Google Maps has started receiving a new beta update, which brings the app to v9.45. The update includes partially redesigned arrival card which helps user receive emails and highlights once landed at the destination. The new update will also let the users share their custom lists with others.

The user will also receive an overview by email which highlights the sites visited by the user. The Google Maps team have also been working to encourage the users to leave ratings and reviews for places. The feature is enabled by default and the user can unsubscribe from the settings menu.

The Google Maps team also seems to be working on sharing the lists of interests. Previously, it was possible to put a list of locations but not share it actually with friends and family. Now with the new update, users can share lists with Gmail account to other users. However, it is still unknown as to when will we see the update.

Download the new APK version from the link below. It is signed by Google and upgrades the existing app on your device. The cryptographic signature also guarantees that the file is not tampered and safe to install.
