The Honor 8 is the company's response to the flagship killer OnePlus 3. Both the Honor 8 and OnePlus 3 are available with metallic chassis and the price tag around $400. The V9 recently appeared in TENAA certification which gives us the pretty good hint about hardware specs of the device.

The device is expected to have Octa-core SoC clocking at 2.4GHz, it could be Kirin 960 or from Helio architecture. The device is expected to have 4GB or 6GB RAM. The base model expected to have 64GB storage whereas the top of the line model expected with 128GB storage. A slightly large 3,900mAh battery cell is expected to power up the device.
As far as the camera is a concern, the device is expected to have the 8MP front-facing camera for selfies and video chats whereas on the rear side the dual-camera setup is expected to be of 12MP. The primary 12MP sensor will be capturing normal images whereas the second sensor is expected to capture images in black and white to enhance the overall quality of the image.
In terms of the design, both the V9 and Honor 8 Pro won't be different but the only expected difference will be the lack of China Mobile Logo on the Honor 8 Pro rear side.
