The Chinese smartphone manufacturer UMIDIGI will be attending MWC 2017 event
and at the event, the company will be unveiling a new Z Pro smartphone featuring dual rear cameras. It will be the company's first smartphone to have UMIDIGI moniker instead of UMI.
Most of the hardware specs of this device are pretty much similar to UMI Z
but there is one feature which makes it prominent.
The MediaTek Deca-core Helio X27 SoC will be powering the device under the hood with 4GB RAM. On the front facing side, the device will be featuring the 13MP front facing camera. The device chassis will be made up of metal. A 3,780mAh battery cell will be on board to keep the entire machinery running. All these specs are similar to UMI Z, what makes it different is its dual rear camera setup.
The company teaser confirms that device will be packed with dual 13MP sensor expected to be Sony IMX258 sensors. This means UMIDIGI fans can expect the device rear camera focus and image quality will be much improved to this sensor. According to the UMIDIGI, the device second camera sensor will be capturing black and white images which will produce results of DSLR quality. How it will have 3X digital Zoom and bokeh effect of DSLR, details of camera capability will be unveiled by the company at the MWC announcement.
The UMIDIGI Z Pro launching event will be on March 1st at the MWC 2017 and expected price tag is $299.99. When this device will be released, it is still in dark. Stay tuned, we will be keeping a close eye regarding more details of this upcoming smartphone.
