Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge on T-Mobile are now receiving Nougat update

17 February 2017 3

Samsung smartphones main selling points are usually thier top-notch display and high-res camera sensors but the company usually lacks in releasing new updates timely. With the new Nougat update, the company intially started Beta program for the flagship Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge. Later on company started rolling out Nougat for the unlocked variants across the globe. As per latest info the company now shifted thier focus on carrier locked variants as well.

The T-Mobile bounded Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge are now receiving the Nougat update. Initially the update is being rolled out to those who are currently in the Beta program. Back in January, the company updated the European variants which are on Beta version. The update will be rolled out OTA, so for sure it will take few days untill everyone receives this update.

The update weighs 117MB only and the update also updates the security patch level to Feb 1st. The T-Mobile official page so far didn't updated regarding the roll out and the possible reason is that as the update yet to be rolled out to those who are on not on Beta version.

Those who are complaining regarding the slow speed of Galaxy S7 lineup devices after the Beta Nougat should update the device because the final version for sure will solve this problem.
