ZTE's subsidiary brand Nubia confirms that the company will be unveiling a new product during the MWC 2017
scheduled from Feb 27th till March 2. The company didn't mention any specific timing for the event but only mention that a new smartphone device will be showcased at 7A11, Hall 7.
At the IFA 2016, the company unveiled the Z11 smartphone
for smartphone markets outside of China. The Z11 was later released for the Indian market in December. As far as MWC event is a concern, it is heavily rumored that Nubia will be unveiling the Prague S2 at the event as a successor device of last year Prague S
. The Prague S was announced for the Chinese customers back in Jan 2016. At the MWC 2016, the company showcased it for global markets. So far the Prague S2 is in tight curtains that's why we don't have any info regarding the device, nor about its hardware specifications.
The Nubia invite hints about a new smartphone at the MWC event, we don't have to wait much as the device official launch is just around the corner. Stay tuned.
