LG G6 is performing great in terms of sales in its home country South Korea. The first day sales are better than its predecessor LG G5. According to a report, the company managed to sell 20,000 units on this first day. On the comparison, only 15,000 sales of the G5 were recorded in the first day in Korea.
LG had received over 40,000 pre-orders of the G6 in Korea. The device is all set to reach more regions. The phone will land in Israel on March 22nd, and its Australian launch is set for March 28. Meanwhile, the device is also up for pre-orders in the UK.
LG, this time ditched the idea of the modularity and rather worked on essentials. It’s more about the large display packed into a compact body. It features a 5.7-inch display with ultra-thin bezel design. It’s powered by Snapdragon 821 SoC coupled with a 4GB RAM. It’s also the first non-Pixel device to run the Google Assistant out-of-the-box. It’s a water and dust resistance smartphone. The device comes in two storage variants – 32GB and 64GB models; it also has a dual rear camera setup. The device packs a 3,300mAH battery with Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0 support.
We are excited to watch if G6 outperforms in sales than G5. The first-day sales record is great ad we’re waiting to see more such results and hopefully, it may help the company in its overall revenues.
