Moto G5 Plus gets its first ever and a needed one software update in Brazil

Motorola Moto G5 Plus is receiving its first ever software update in Brazil. The update shows the build number as NPN25.137-33. According to the changelog, the software update will improve the audio quality of the device during a video capture. The update also brings in the stability improvements and bug fixes.

The update weighs 280.7MB and you need to have a stable Wi-Fi connection to receive this update. The package is being pushed out as an over-the-air (OTA) update. In case you don’t receive the notification, you can manually check the update by going to Software updates into the About Phone from the Settings menu.

Launched last month at the Mobile World Congress event in Barcelona the device holds a 5.2-inch full HD display. It’s powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC coupled with the Adreno 506 GPU and the 2GB/4GB RAM. It comes with a 32GB and 64GB internal memory which can be expanded further using a microSD card.

The device holds a 12MP rear camera with a 5MP front shooter. The device comes with a 3,000mAh battery that supports the TurboPower fast charging. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box and will receive the Google Assistant in the future.
