As reported a few days ago, Huawei has now started rolling the Android Wear 2.0 update to their original Huawei Watch which was launched back in 2015. The smartwatch sports 512MB of RAM and is powered by the Snapdragon 400 chipset, which overall has enough juice to run the new update.
Android Wear 2.0 brings the Google Assistant onto the user's wrist which allows getting things done just by talking things at it. It will feature a native Play Store app that allows downloading smartwatch-specific applications. It will also enable the on-screen keyboard for times where users need to reply quickly. However, users won't be able to make payments using Android Pay as the device doesn't come with a built-in NFC chip.
If you own a Huawei Watch and updated it to the latest software, let us know your views on the new updates and overall experience in the comments below.
