As the Galaxy S8/S8+ nears official launch, more and more information and material is coming to light regarding the new flagship. This time, the official promotional content for the phones has leaked, giving us yet another look at how they will look and perform.
The leaked images show the phone's design once more (and yes there IS a dedicated Bixby button). The images, however, focus on the phone's display quality, borne on 5.8 and 6.2 inch super AMOLED screens with QHD display resolution. Both the phones have screens with an aspect ratio of 18:9.
Furthermore, leaked documents suggest that the phone has an Exynos 8895 or Snapdragon 835 processor, depending on the market it is sold in. The new Exynos has two clusters of 4 cores each, running at 2.45 GHz and 1.9 GHz respectively.
The rear camera is a 12 MP unit, whereas the front-facing camera is 8 MP. There's 64 / 128 GB (S8+) of storage on board. There's FPS, Iris scanner and USB-C as well. The phone is powered by a 3,000 mAh battery (3,500 for S8+), and will ofcourse be running the latest version of Android, i.e. 7.1.1.
The Galaxy S8 will cost $800, whereas the S8+ will come in at a whopping $890.
