Blackberry is making good on its commitment towards delivering a quality software experience to its users, ever since its licencing agreement with TCL which took over the hardware manufacturing. The company has been actively delivering updates to its first Android smartphone, the Blackberry Priv, which received the February patch last month. Today, the smartphone is getting the latest March Android update on the Verizon network.
The new security patch update, carrying version AAJ926, brings some bug fixes and security enhancements for the month of March.
The update is available Over-The-Air, so if you're a Verizon customer and can't find the update, be sure that it will roll out to you soon. You should get a notification once it is available.
The Blackberry Priv is a 5.4 inch device with a physical, slide-out keyboard and carrying a screen resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels. It is a one-of-a-kind device with a unique design that undoubtedly appeals to some. The lack of a successor device with a similar design is somewhat offset by the company keeping the phone updated, which is quite great to see.
