After the official launch announcement for the Huawei P10 Lite in Malaysia, the device started appearing for pre-order in some regions which includes the United Kingdom, where Carphone Warehouse, Vodafone and EE are all set to launch the smartphone across the country at the end of March.
Unfortunately, there are reports that Huawei has no plans as of now of bringing their latest smartphone to the United States. However, the silver lining to this is that the smartphone will expand to other markets by the end of March, so let’s look at what potential buyers residing in these areas will be getting if they make a purchase.
The Huawei P10 Lite, as the name suggests, is a ‘Lite’ version of the predecessor Huawei P10. The premium features of the sibling smartphone have been retained but executed in a way which has resulted in the price being slashed considerably.
Specifications wise, the P10 Lite sports a 5.2-inch LCD display with a 1920 x 1080 resolution and 424 pixels per inch pixel density. The inside system consists of an HiSilico Kirin 658 System-on-Chip- with a whopping eight CPU cores as well as a Mali- T830MP2 (dual core) graphics chip. The 4GB RAM equipped by this smartphone is more than enough for the multitasking needs of the average user, which also applies for the internal 32 GB memory (expandable through a microSD card). Last but not least, the Huawei P10 Lite’s power is generated by a 3000 mAh battery based on Android 7.0 Nougat.
Even though the Huawei P10 Lite will not be making its debut in the US market, it is more than likely that some retailers will offer ways to import the product Stateside.
