Motorola Moto C and Moto C Plus surface online | UPD : press renders leaked

New images of the Motorola's cheapest Android handsets Moto C and C Plus have been leaked online. Both the phones appear to have capacitive navigation buttons, rear-firing speakers, and a 'Moto' logo on the front. From the looks of the devices, the Moto C Plus appears to be a bit thinner than the C but the former has a camera hump.

These two phones are expected to launch in the US.

Motorola is coming up with a new line of smartphones that promise to be the cheapest Moto phones ever. The rumor mill has it that the phones will be called the Moto C and Moto C Plus and will target entry-level customers. The images of the smartphone had surfaced earlier and today we have information about the specs. This comes from the report of renowned leakstar @evleaks, who has revealed the specs of these smartphones as well.

The Moto C will feature a 5-inch display with an FWVGA resolution of 854x480p. The smartphone will be powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core 32-bit MediaTek processor for the 3G variant, and by the 1.1GHz quad-core 64-bit MediaTek processor for the 4G variant. The smartphone will come coupled with only 1GB of RAM and 8GB/16GB of internal storage space which can be further expanded via a microSD card slot. On the camera front, it will have a 5MP rear-facing camera and a 2MP front camera with a LED flash. The smartphone will run on Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box. The entire device is backed by a 2350mAh battery. Moto C will support both 3G and 4G networks.

Coming to the Plus variant, the Moto C Plus, will feature a 5-inch HD display with a resolution of 1280x720p. The smartphone will be powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core 64-bit MediaTek processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. There will be a 2MP front-facing camera and an 8MP rear-facing camera. The entire device will be backed by a 4000mAh battery. The smartphone will run Android 7.0 Nougat. Moto C Plus will be an LTE-only phone.

Both the smartphones will be available in Black, White, Gold, and Red colors.

It's wonderful to see that Motorola are coming up with an entry level phones for their popular brands. It's good to target the entry level price bracket at times too.
