Xiaomi is all set to launch its new flagship Mi 6 at an event scheduled for April 19th and to celebrate the occasion, it has now unveiled a Mi Band 2 Mi 6 commemorative edition in China. This is a limited edition variant meant to mark the launch of Xiaomi's upcoming flagship.
In terms of comparison with the standard edition, there are no changes on the specifications front. Xiaomi has simply engraved the number "6" on the OLED display panel and printed "Mi 6 Memorial" on the rubber strap which is in the Chinese language. It means there is no surety if the Mi Band 2 Mi 6 commemorative edition will be sold in international markets.
Xiaomi has not shared any details regarding the availability of this new limited edition Mi Band 2. While it is likely to go on sale alongside the Mi 6, it is also expected to be given away to all the attendees of the launch event on April 19th. As for the Xiaomi Mi 6 specifications, it is expected to sport a 5.1-inch Quad HD display with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. It is said to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor with 12MP/8MP camera combo.
