Microsoft has announced a new to-do list app with an apt name, Microsoft To-Do. The app will allow you to create to-do lists for the day and will also help in taking care of the tasks on these lists. It has been developed by the same team which worked on the immensely popular Wunderlist app which was acquired by Microsoft about a couple of years ago.
With the new Microsoft To-Do app, it has plans for retiring Wunderlist app in the coming months. The team is currently working on bringing Wunderlist's best features to the new app and once it is completed, the new one will be replacing the older one. This is the reason that newer app has currently been released under Preview and is a way of telling that it is not the final product.
Talking about its current features, the app has Office 365 integration which is something really helpful for those who have the subscription to the paid service. This integration can surely help them in managing their day in a better way. It also features a "smart algorithm" which makes you suggestions about what tasks should be added to your to-do list and in which order. Basically, it is said to be helpful in managing your to-do lists in a better and efficient way.
On launching the app, you will see your to-do list as well as an icon to check which of the tasks you missed/forgot to complete the last day. On the basis of your current list and due tasks, the app will make suggestions about how to make a better list and which tasks should be prioritized. But as these are suggestions, you always have the option to accept or reject them.
Microsoft To-Do has been made available across different platforms along with syncing feature which means you don't have worry about being restricted to a particular device for accessing and managing your lists. It is currently available for Android, iOS, Windows, and the web.
